Educare Yoga Tours was inspired by the idea of sharing a broader, more authentic understanding of yoga (with those who are hungry for that), wrapped in fun travel adventures to the lands of the East.

Founder and CEO, Chethan, who completed both his yoga TTC (Teachers’ Training Course) and ATTC (Advanced Teachers’ Training Course) of 500 hours, noticed that most yoga retreats were in one fixed location. He also noticed that the typical yoga retreats were for more hard core yogis or those who wanted a sort of physical workout bootcamp with two yoga asana classes a day (oftentimes in Latin American or Western European destinations). Even those that called themselves yoga tours and visited different cities presented yoga as being primarily about physical postures (asanas). They were also quite pricey.

He wanted to create a yoga tour that aimed to give people, at any level of yoga, a fun and adventurous travel experience in the lands of the East, honoring the birthplace of yoga, coupled with a more well-rounded yoga experience that went beyond physical postures (asanas) alone.

Also he wanted to offer it at more affordable prices than other yoga retreat and yoga tour companies were charging for similar tours. Thus, Educare Yoga Tours was born!
